The Teleco Telesat system is a fully Automatic Satellite System designed for Motorhomes, Caravans and Special Vehicles.  It is available with either a 65cm dish or 85cm dish,  weighs in at only 9Kg or 10.6kg respectively and will suit any satellite receiver (not supplied).  The TeleSat is pre-programmed to search for 7 different satellite groupings, Astra 19, Hot Bird and Astra 23, Astra 4, EutelSat 5W, Thor and Astra 28 (where most UK channels are found) at a push of a button. The TeleSat system is operated through a wall mounted control panel that is simple to use with only 3 keys.

Once Searching the TeleSat usually takes up to 60 seconds to lock on to the selected Satellite, this even includes the minor adjustments that are made to ensure you get the maximum signal strength and thus the best possible picture wherever you are.

A Key Advantage of the Teleco Automatic Satellite Systems is that they have a unique way of searching for one of the pre-determined Satellites. It does this because each Satellite has its own unique Identifier Number that it transmits (NID) which never changes,  through using this number as part of its search sequence to lock onto it, the Teleco Group Satellite Systems require far less search criteria updates than others on the market. Though should an update ever be needed it can be simply completed, all that's needed is a laptop with the latest Teleco software on (available at the telecogroup website) and a printer cable to connect to the control box.  From there all that you need to do is follow clear and simple instructions.

The way in which television and radio signals are beamed to Earth is currently changing.  Signals are starting to be transmitted using DVB-S2, which is both more efficient and cheaper for the broadcasters than DVB-S which is currently in use. Once all broadcasters have moved onto DVB-S2 then DVB-S will be turned off.  This will mean that DVB-S control boxes will become obsolete and need replacing.  Teleco have already identified this future problem which is why all the control boxes that come with Teleco Automatic Satellite Systems are DVB-S2 enabled. 

The Teleco TeleSat is available in 2 dish sizes, 85cm and 65cm as shown below.  Depending on where you wish to visit and also what you want to watch determines what size dish you should go for.  Both dish sizes are available with a Twin LNB.  Twin LNB's are useful should you wish to have 2 televisons that you can watch programmes independently of one another, or, alternatively if you have a receiver that you want to pause/record live tv on.

All TeleSats come with a replaceable mounting plate, so should you choose to change your vehicle, you do not need to completely replace your system.
